Very well organized excellent adventure

5D4N wonders of Kinabatangan river and Danum Valley in October. Everything was organized very well, we were looked after and informed all the time perfectly. Trip itself was excellent combination of the river and animals and then two days in the beautiful Danum Valley, middle of the gorgeous rainforest.
Guides, drivers and boat captains all very good and professional, thank you for the lovely experience!

Ryan the virtual agent was very attentive, since my phone didn’t connect to the mobile network in Borneo my WhatsApp wasn’t working without wifi and I was not able to receive/answer messages but he did a great job informing us and asking if everything was okay, thank you!

Great Experience, Great Tour Guide, Highly Recommended

We booked Kawa River Cruise - Wildlife & Fireflies incl. private transport with corresponding additional costs (for this we had a small bus private to ourselves - the bus was like new, very clean and the ride accordingly very pleasant). It all worked out great. Communication via WA for booking and organization worked great.

Joel our tour guide and rider was very professional, gave great additional information, took great care of us (we didn't have to wait long) and made the tour a very interesting and great experience, thank you Joel. We have seen nostril monkeys, various exotic birds and other native animals such as macaques, water buffalo or langurs. The food was local and tasted great. The subsequent night boat trip, during which the river and mangrove forests were illuminated by the sparkle of the fireflies, was an additional highlight.

We can highly recommend this tour and the organizer Amazing Borneo Tours.

Amazing Borneo Trip

Excellent trip. Great communication. All transfers, pick ups and drop offs well organised. Friendly local guides. When something went wrong at one of the hotels Jordanne from Amazing Borneo Tours stepped in and fixed it.

Highly recommend Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge for amazing nature experience in luxury and delicious food. Our guide Casey was so informative and fun. Also recommend sellingen turtle island - fantastic conservation program with passionate rangers.

Worth to go

Gavin from Amazing Borneo in Sabah was an outstanding guide and driver for our Klias mangrove tour. Despite only my wife and I being in the group, Gavin stayed with us throughout the entire day, providing detailed explanations.

Unlike other tours that simply drop guests at the jetty and leave, he guided us through the whole experience. He helped us spot all three species of monkeys and ensured we captured the perfect sunset. When we wanted to return early, he kindly drove us back near our hotel and even recommended a great night market. The service from Amazing Borneo and Gavin's enthusiasm truly impressed us.

Our first Sabah trip with Amazing Borneo

We recently joined a 4D3N land tour in Sabah with Amazing Borneo from 5–8 September, and it was a truly memorable experience. Everything that was promised – from the hotels, meals, to the tours – was delivered smoothly and without disappointment.

A special compliment goes to our tour guide, Yung, who was with us throughout the trip. He was patient, professional, and attentive, especially with the elderly in our group. His calm guidance and thoughtful support made our journey so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Thank you, Amazing Borneo, for the wonderful arrangements and service. This trip has left us with beautiful memories of Sabah, and we would not hesitate to recommend Amazing Borneo to anyone planning a visit!

Amazing Day, Amazing Borneo, Amazing Vincent

We had a private car and driver named Vincent. Vincent was excellent he helped us fulfill all the things we wanted to do, taking us to Kinabalu Park, POW war museum, Nebula small market town and great lunch in small restaurant in Poring. He was interesting, well informed and friendly driver. He was also a very good and safe driver, negotiating a massive tropical rainstorm on the way to our designated drop off in Kota Belud.

We would highly recommend getting a private car from Amazing Borneo rather than driving yourself. Try for Vincent if he is available. We would have missed a lot if we didn’t have Vincent who guided us to many good view points, coffee stops and even bathrooms! Sarah in Amazing Borneo Office was also very helpful.

Fab Diving with Amazing Borneo

We had a fantastic day doing a PADI dive and introductory dive course arranged by Amazing Borneo at ShangriLa Rasa Ria, through Joey and her team. They were excellent. It was well organised, the details all good and the day ran very smoothly.

The diving was with Go Acquatic in KK, who were brilliant, very professional and made everyone feel safe and welcome. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for this day and it was made even better by a wonderful driver, Vincent who was part of the Borneo Adventures team who punctually picked us up and dropped us off, giving some decent commentary and recommendations about KK on the way.

Fantastic Short Tour, would love to come back

We have just had a wonderful time with our 3 sons on a short 2D guided tour as part of a week in Borneo. Our guide William was fantastic - very intuitive and thoughtful.

The organisation was perfect. He had an exceptional knowledge to share with us in an interesting way, also showing so much patience with my youngest son and his many questions! Thank you

Super Efficient Sales /Tour Customisation and Great Properties/Guides along the way

We booked a 2 week custom tour of Borneo with Amazing Borneo Tours and it did not disappoint! We visited Sandakan, Selingan (Turtle) Island, Kinabatangan River, Lahad Datu and Dannum Valley and then on to Mabul/Sipidan Islands.

I wanted to plan a custom family tour and I made enquiries with 2 operators. Anthony at Amazing Borneo Tours was so responsive and created the perfect itinerary for us, based on my specific wish list. This was why we booked with Amazing Borneo Tours.

The 2 guides assigned to us for different parts of the journey (Richard and Shirley) were very friendly and organised everything well. Shirley was our wildlife guide and she was able to spot animals for us and tell us about them. We saw a huge variety of wildlife, but the highlight for us was the Bornean elephants.
