SABAH EMERGENCY CARELINES

As you enjoy your adventure through the Land Below the Wind, here’s some important careline information to keep handy at all times.

General Guideline

  1. Keep the contact details of your tour agent or hotel with you. If you're traveling independently, make sure you know the nearest emergency number.
  2. For serious medical emergencies, fires, or life-threatening situations, dial 999 immediately.
  3. For tourism-related emergencies, contact the Sabah Tourism Emergency Hotline at +60 19 939 2121.

Sabah Tourism Board

The Sabah Tourism Board has a dedicated Tourist Information Centre to assist travelers with any questions or concerns. You can reach out to them for tourism-related emergencies and issues.

999 - Malaysia Emergency Response Services (MERS)

MERS integrates the emergency services of the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP), Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (FRDM), Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), and Department of Civil Defence (DCD). All emergency calls and information are managed through the number 999.
