Fantastic time in Borneo

We had an amazing hike to the summit. Although it was quite a bit harder than we thought it was going to be. Our experience on the hike as well as our stay at the Laban Rata was an experience I will never forget. Our mountain guide did a great job in helping us reach the summit and it was great fun to lead the pack on the last few kilometers of our trek. I would recommend your company to any other experienced hikers. The food at the rest house and selection was great as well and I loved that all the mountain guides are so responsible in terms of picking up and removing litter from along the trail. You are an organization I will surely recommend to others.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip up Mt Kinabalu with Amazing Borneo Tours. From the moment we were picked up at our lodge through to returning down the mountain to the gates, the staff were professional and organized. I felt safe with the guides and they were clear on instructions. All in all it was a challenging yet rewarding experience! I would be happy to book with ABT next time!

Well, I did the Kinabalu Park Tour on Oct. 18 2013. It was a small group and the tour guide was Ryan. He was very friendly and knew everything what we asked. Even the name of the different wild orchids in the park. He took time when we wished to see something a little bit longer. Also driver and the car were ok. All in all a top tour, top programs with a top guide. Amazing Kinabalu.

Thanks! We had an amazing time. The Via Ferrata was a fantastic experience, and our guides up there at Mountain Torq were very funny (I think his name was John - great guy). And Safrey, our mountain guide, was really patient and experienced, he knew exactly where to take us. An excellent guide. We loved our trip to Borneo, thanks a lot!

The service and arrangement of your staff are really impressive. They are quite punctual and their responses are truly friendly and timely. My mother and myself had a great time, except getting the heavy rain when trekking the mountain. (We cannot blame this any way, though.)

I found the trip to be very well run and we had a great time, despite the challenges of climbing Mt K. The transport seemed to be quite well organise, which is obviously very important. We also got good information from your staff when travelling from the hotel to park HQ. Dinner was very good on the mountain, although breakfast was perhaps not that great. All in all, A very enjoyable experience and I would recommend Amazing Borneo to others for sure. Regards

I think Amazing Borneo did a great job. Picked me up on time, very friendly, got my permits with little trouble, and set me up with a great guide. Also the drop off was great and enjoyed talking with people from the office. I will come back next year to train for the KK mountain race and compete next year so you will see me again.

We had a fantastic time on our 2D1N trek up Mount Kinabalu, Borneo. Our guide, Julius Dani was an absolute gem. We are lucky to have been partnered up with him. He was patient, caring, empathetic and an amazing photographer.

We were very impressed in all aspects of our dealings with Amazing Borneo. Here are some brief thoughts: 1.Great e-mail response times in early discussions 2.Great website ("Things you may want to bring" etc for all tours - very helpful) 3.Great guides (particularly "Look" on the trip to Kiulu rafting and "Ash" on the raft itself, Sylvester on the Kinabalu trek, ...) 4.Very helpful with lost property (I left something in an Am.Born. van and it was returned later the same day by one of your guides!) 5.Very helpful and accommodating to last-minute changes (e.g. extra night accommodation; cancelled trek; alternate travel due to illness; ...) We will be recommending your services to others in future (and have already to fellow travelers while on the trip :-P).
