The entire trip with Amazing Borneo was wonderful! Everything was just perfect. The team are really professional. Transport, hostel and food as well were all well arranged. Kudos to the guides, Joseph and Alex who are really professional, cheerful and funny. Truly satisfied with their service during the climb. :)

I have recovered well from the climb and am totally inspired to climb one mountain every year. Any suggestions on which should be the next mountain to climb? 

I absolutely loved the entire process of booking my climb and executing it with Amazing Borneo. Right from the start, the staff have been very very helpful and efficient. 

The entire process was without flaw and I faced no inconvenience whatsoever. Everything went as per schedule and I was very satisfied. 

Special mention for my guide, Ronnie. He was the best. His communication, motivation, interpersonal skills, they were all very impressive. I could not have asked for a better guide. He made my climb to the summit and back down easy and enjoyable. 

Kinabalu has been a life changing experience for me and has made me realise that nothing is impossible.  I will highly recommend your company to all prospective climbers.

We had an amazing trip to Borneo and were very impressed with your company. Your agent was very patient and prompt with answering my many queries in the run up to booking and the booking process worked smoothly. My friend and I were picked up from our hotel as per the arrangements and the whole time that we were in the hands of your company everything went smoothly and we wee well looked after. At Mt Kinabalu Park headquarters we were introduced to our lovely guide Wilfred who looked after us well throughout the climb, he also picked up on my interest in plants and wildlife and made an effort to find pitcher plants including talking us slightly off the main track to see the special Nepenthes Kinabalensis. Wilfred set a perfect pace throughout the walk up and was cheerful and encouraging when he needed to be. We felt in safe hands. The accommodation at the Laban Rata hut was superior to what we had thought it might be with clean bathrooms, comfy beds and plentiful and tasty food. We successfully made the summit and watched a fabulous sunrise. The descent was trouble free and Wilfred timed it perfectly so that we never felt rushed but were down in time to get the bus back to KK in time for us to get the ferry to Gaya where we relaxed and nursed our achey legs for the next 2 days. So all in all a wonderful holiday, and I will happily book with Amazing Borneo again and recommend your company to my friends.

For me the Mt Kinabalu 2D1N trip was very enjoyable and satisfying personal achievement. We were fortunate to have experienced good weather on the day of the final ascent of Lows Peak (29th May).

I would like to compliment Amazing Borneo Tours on the smoothness of the tour booking process and the service provided during the trip.

All staff were friendly and provided an efficient service. Our mountain guide was excellent. The accommodation and meals at Laban Rata were very good.

I can think of nothing that could have been done better.

Everything with the trip was very pleasant. Your team was professional and efficient in performing their job.  The booking process was well managed and execution with pick up from airport and transfer to the park was very good. Transfer back to KK was also good.

The climb to the peak of Mt Kinabalu was indeed a challenging one, with one of the person in our group fainting halfway due to altitude sickness (but got better anyways), but we all made it up with the awesome guides that escorted us up to the peak and back down safely.

We were very surprised that your actually celebrated some of our group mates birthday after the climb, and I thank your so much for the cake and the kind thoughts!

The trip to the northern most part of Borneo was an eye opener indeed! Most of us have never seen such a big gong , such a long house , eating banana flowers, ferns, and also be so close to bees before! And also, the view at the northernmost part of borneo is simply scenic! Though our bus breakdown along the way back, but it was cool! We had a last minute change along the way to stop by a small town for some bbq before another bus came to fetch us back to KK city.

The guide was really nice, he brought us to eat at a local food restaurant, where we tried the sago worm live! I have eaten many bugs before in thailand, china and such, but never had I once eaten a live bug! The last live food I ate was octopus in korea, but the experience is way more different when eating the sago worm live! The food was great as well!

The dive experience that we booked with your was fantastic as well! Though the water was not very clear, but the marine life is awesome! 

The experience did not end just when the trips end. One of my group mate's shirt that we bought from your had a marker ink on it but your had kindly replaced it for us! Really good service!

Overall, I enjoyed your service a lot! It is an agency worth recommending to others as well!

Climbing Mt Kinabalu was one of the best things I've ever done. It was a fantastic experience and I was very happy with the services provided by Amazing Borneo.

My guide was wonderful. He encouraged me to keep walking during the last kilometre and was very supportive.  The accommodation was fine, especially the first night, and the food was excellent.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amazing Borneo - thank you for helping make it possible.

My mother and I have fulfilling and enjoyed our 4 days stay at Kota Kinabalu from 3rd to 6th  May recently.

Your Amazing Borneo have been playing one of the reason for our memorable journey. The overall service rendered entailed the company core values. We have lots of fun and amazed of the beautiful KK which started from day 1 we stayed at Sutera Harbour Hotel till the last day.

It was my mother 76th years old birthday' s treat and having have Mr Roy as our tour lead - it was such amazing.

Mr Roy is not only knowledgeable, he is also caring and attentive to my elderly mother. His sense of humour will delight to all and his spontaneity responses to all queries (as I indeed asked many questions related to KK history) reflected his intelligent minds. Good commitment as I can observed . And it was part of the core values for Amazing Borneo. 

I also would like to thanks  to All the drivers (Fender? , And other guys that I can't recalled their names) that were with us throughout the journey  To Oswold (sorry if I mispelled the name) too,  whom fetched me and my mother to the Airport on way back home.

As a frequent traveller , I believe to have and get a good and knowledgeable tour lead / guide will leave a good memories  of the visited country as time passes by. My thanks again to Amazing Borneo Team and Mr Roy for the job well - done !

To start with i must say how impressed we were with the climbing of Mount Kinabalu. The views from the peak are amazing and well worth the 2 days of pain climbing up and down the mountain.

Our booking process started about 4 months before our climb and it took many emails and communications until we could actually find a date to climb that was within our time frame of travel. We understand that this process might have been a bit longer than normal due to the possible high volume of re bookings that would have been required after the earthquake. The staff we dealt with through the booking process were always very prompt in responding and demonstrated a very high level of customer service and professionalism which led us to be very satisfied with the booking process, even though we didnt get to climb on the original dates we had requested.

The manage your booking section was very easy to fill out regarding flight arrival times and accommodations, even though we did have to change our flight details numerous times due to Air Asia changing the schedule quite frequently. We didnt have any problems paying our 50% deposit and the remaining balance through online payments.

Airport pickup was very good. We were worried there wouldn't be anyone there to meet us as our flight was delayed 5 hours, But at 9pm when we arrived at BKI there was a man there with a sign waiting for us. Even though it was very late and dark we enjoyed the 2 hour bus ride up to Kinabalu Park. The driver was very informative and very personable and we enjoyed his company and his selections of music.

The Ligawu suite was a very comfortable room and Check in was very fast. Our driver had called through hours before we arrived to organize dinner for the both of us due to our late arrival. That was very much appreciated.

On climb day we found the reps from Amazing Borneo and they introduced us to our guide and organized our lanyards and cards which was good. the ground staff seemed very in control and were a calming influence on all around us.

On the ground it would have been good for the reps to inform us of the water shortage and that there would be no where to fill a bottle en route to Laban Rata as we would have packed more supplies to take with us.

Our guide Jackly was very informative and just a all round good person. At times where my partner was struggling a bit he would always do what he could to help her out and that was much appreciated.

To sum up our experience with Amazing Borneo, We were very impressed by the level of customer service and the professionalism shown by your staff from the booking staff, transport, ground crew and guide. 

Since we have been home we have been looking on your website at what we will do next time we are in Borneo, So im quite sure in the near future we will be making another booking through Amazing Borneo.
