Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel lobby or Sandakan airport. 

Delve into the heart of nature with a visit to the renowned Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, nestled within the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Your knowledgeable guide will provide an insightful briefing before you embark on a journey to witness the rehabilitation efforts through a captivating documentary. Encounter Bornean-endemic orangutans up close as they play in their natural habitat and observe their feeding at a platform within the lowland rainforest. 

Next, explore the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, home to the smallest bear in the world, known for its distinctive crescent markings. 

Journey onwards to Bilit Jetty, followed by a scenic boat ride to Bilit Rainforest Lodge in Bilit Village. 

Upon arrival, relish a refreshing welcome drink and indulge in a delicious lunch. 

In the evening, embark on a mesmerising river cruise along the Kinabatangan River, where you may spot proboscis monkeys, rare bird species, and – if you're lucky – pygmy elephants! 

Conclude the day with a delectable dinner and an optional complimentary night safari cruise or leisure time before retiring to the comforts of Bilit Rainforest Lodge. 

Begin your morning with some light refreshments before setting off on a peaceful river cruise to the Ox-Bow Lake. Cruise along the Kinabatangan River and witness the rainforest awaken with the movements of birds and wildlife starting their day.

After the cruise, return to the lodge to enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Continue the morning with a relaxed 30-minute Kampung Walk around the lodge and the nearby Kampung Bilit, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle and culture of the local village community.

After the walk, take some time to relax at your leisure before lunch is served at the Bilit Restaurant.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a tea break at 15:30 Hrs, then head out for another river cruise at 16:00 Hrs. As you journey along the river, look out for Proboscis Monkeys, a variety of bird species, and other wildlife. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the elusive Bornean pygmy elephant.

After the river cruise, enjoy some free time before dinner is served at 19:30 Hrs.

Spend another restful night at Bilit Rainforest Lodge, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast before checking out and making your 2-hour journey back to Sandakan by car. 

Before checking in at your accommodation, stop by the Rainforest Discovery Centre to learn about the restoration efforts at Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve and experience their canopy walkway, an astounding 363 metres long. 

Transfer to Sepilok Nature Lodge or a similar accommodation. Check-in and enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure. 

Bid farewell to Sepilok Nature Lodge as you journey to Sandakan PSR Jetty via a 30-minute drive. 

Transfer to Lankayan Island via speedboat, offering approximately 90 minutes of scenic ocean views. 

Check in at Lankayan Island Dive Resort and relish in the serenity of the island paradise. 

The day is yours!  Enjoy the day at leisure, unwinding amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of Lankayan Island. 

Indulge in various activities such as swimming, snorkelling, and ocean kayaking. 

After breakfast, check out from Lankayan Island Dive Resort. 

Transfer by boat to the jetty followed by an overland journey to Sandakan Airport, concluding your remarkable adventure amidst the beauty of Sabah's wilderness and coastal wonders.
