Touch down at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Your Sabah adventure begins here!  

Transfer to Kota Kinabalu where you will check in to your room at the Magellan Sutera Resort. 

After checking in to the resort, feel free to explore the sights and sounds of the buzzing Kota Kinabalu city and nightlife.

It’s time for a good night’s rest at the The Magellan Sutera Resort to re-energise for more adventures tomorrow!

Rise & shine for breakfast.

After breakfast, opt to book Fun Boat Snorkelling (you may book in advance with our Sales Representative) or have yourself some peace and relaxation at Magellan Sutera Resort's own spa centre, the Mandara Spa.

After a full day of activity, it's time to catch on some shut eye with an overnight stay at the The Magellan Sutera Resort.

Another day, another time for exploring. This time in Sandakan!

Have yourself some breakfast & proceed to check out of your room.

Transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport where you will catch your flight to Sandakan.

Warm greetings and pick up at Sandakan Airport.

Journey to the famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.

Upon arrival, your guide will provide a short briefing session. Watch a documentary providing you with information of the centre & the rehabilitation of an orphaned Orang Utan before entering.

Enjoy as you get to encounter Orang Utans up close as they frolic in their natural habitat & proceed to the boardwalk where you can witness the Orang Utan feeding time from a feeding platform.

After enjoying some time with the Orang Utans, you will proceed to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre.

Sun Bear is the smallest bear in the world where their height of adult is around 120cm to 150cm (while standing); weight around 27kg to 65kg. You can easily spot white or yellowish crescent marking on its chests.

Then you will be taken on a 2-hour journey to the Bilit Jetty where you will take a boat ride to Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

A welcome drink is served upon your arrival & check in at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

Lunch is served for you to refuel and recharge!

Hop onto your Kinabatangan River Cruise in the evening to discover wildlife situated along the river such as Proboscis Monkeys, rare bird species, and maybe chance upon a herd of Pygmy Elephants!

Dinner will be ready after your river cruise.

After dinner, you can opt for a complimentary night safari cruise for the opportunity to spot nocturnal animals, or have some leisure time to yourself before spending the night at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

Begin your day with light refreshments before embarking on a peaceful river cruise to the Ox-Bow Lake. Glide along the Kinabatangan River and witness the rainforest awakening, with birds and wildlife becoming active in the cool morning air.

After the cruise, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.

Continue your morning with a relaxed 30-minute Kampung Walk around the lodge and nearby Kampung Bilit, offering a glimpse into the daily life and traditions of the local village community.

After the walk, enjoy some leisure time until lunch is served at the Bilit Restaurant.

In the afternoon, enjoy a tea break at 15:30 Hrs before departing for another river cruise at 16:00 Hrs. Keep a lookout for Proboscis Monkeys, a wide variety of bird species, and other fascinating wildlife — and with a bit of luck, you might even spot the elusive Bornean pygmy elephant along the riverbanks.

After returning from the cruise, take time to relax before dinner is served at 19:30 Hrs.

End the day with a comfortable overnight stay at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

A hearty breakfast will be served to kick start another day!

Check out of Bilit Rainforest Lodge & take a 30-minute journey to Gomantong Cave.

Explore the intricate cave system of Gomantong Caves where it is home to millions of bats and swiflets. If you’re lucky, you may get to witness the birds’ nest harvesting in action!

After some time spent at Gomantong, it’s time to feed those rumbling tummies with lunch at a local restaurant.

Bid Sandakan farewell & make your way to Sandakan Airport for your flight back to Kota Kinabalu city. 

Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, you’ll be transferred to The Magellan Sutera Resort where you will spend the remainder of your time in Sabah recuperating from your Sandakan adventures.

Continue the tour to the additional add on tours of your choice. Tour ends between 1400hrs (if you choose any 1 optional-add on tour) or 1600hrs (if you choose any 2 optional-add on tours)

After exciting times in Sandakan, have yourself some free and easy time at your own pace to recuperate.

After breakfast, check out of your room and transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your flight home or onwards to your next destination!
