Explore Bako National Park, one of Borneo’s most accessible coastal rainforests, and visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre for a chance to observe orangutans in a semi-wild environment.

Beyond wildlife, this itinerary offers a deeper connection to Sarawak through a countryside stay at Borneo Keranji Farm, a visit to Annah Rais Longhouse, and a guided heritage walk and food hunt through Kuching’s historic streets. From caves and villages to rainforest trails and local cuisine, this experience delivers a complete and immersive Kuching journey.

Kuching, Sarawak

Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, is a cultural gateway to Borneo, known for its riverside setting, heritage streets, and laid-back atmosphere. The city blends colonial history with local traditions, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.

From Kuching, many of Sarawak’s key attractions are within easy reach. Visit Fairy Cave and Wind Cave in Bau, observe orangutans at Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, and experience Bidayuh culture at Annah Rais Longhouse. Bako National Park is also nearby, offering coastal rainforest trails and wildlife encounters.

Borneo Keranji Farm

Located in Bau, about 20 minutes from Kuching International Airport, Borneo Keranji Farm offers a peaceful countryside escape. Designed as a leisure farmstay rather than a resort, it provides a simple and nature-focused experience.

Guests can explore the farm, interact with animals such as goats and rabbits, and enjoy facilities like a swimming pool and vintage-style café. Its location near Fairy Cave and Wind Cave makes it a convenient and immersive stop along your Kuching journey.
