Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Kuching / Sarawak Sunset River Cruise

Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Kuching city for check-in. After some time to rest, head to the waterfront in the late afternoon.

Board a scenic sunset cruise along the Sarawak River, passing landmarks such as the Astana and Fort Margherita while taking in views of the city skyline.

Dinner will be arranged before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Fairy & Wind Caves / Borneo Keranji Farm

After breakfast, depart for Bau to explore Fairy Cave and Wind Cave, known for their limestone formations and distinctive cave interiors.

Continue to Borneo Keranji Farm and check in at approximately 14:00 hrs, followed by a short briefing. In the late afternoon, take part in a “farm-to-table” experience and explore the farm grounds, where you can observe local plants and interact with animals such as goats and rabbits.

Enjoy dinner at the farm before spending the evening at leisure. You may relax, swim, or unwind in the peaceful countryside setting.

Day 3 - Annah Rais Longhouse / Semenggoh Wildlife Centre / Kuching

Start your morning with a sunrise experience at the farm, followed by time at the mini zoo.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Annah Rais Longhouse to explore Bidayuh culture and traditional village life.

Continue to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre for a chance to observe orangutans in a semi-wild environment.

After the visit, return to Kuching and check in to your hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 4 - Bako National Park Day Trip

After breakfast, depart for Bako National Park, one of Sarawak’s most renowned national parks, accessible by a short boat ride from the mainland.

Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, from coastal cliffs and sandy beaches to dense rainforest trails. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, wild boars, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.

Enjoy a guided walk along selected trails, where your guide will share insights into the park’s unique ecosystems and biodiversity.

After the excursion, return to Kuching in the afternoon and relax at your hotel.

Day 5 - Kuching Heritage & Food Hunt Tour / Kek Lapis Factory

After breakfast, set out on a guided heritage walk through Kuching’s historic districts, including India Street, Gambier Street, Main Bazaar, and Carpenter Street, where traditional shop houses and local businesses reflect the city’s multicultural roots.

Along the way, enjoy a curated food hunt experience, sampling local favourites such as kolo mee, laksa, and traditional snacks. Continue to the Open Air Market and Kuching Waterfront, where local life and flavours come together.

Later, visit a Kek Lapis factory to learn about Sarawak’s iconic layered cake and enjoy a tasting session before returning to your hotel.

Day 7 - Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kuching International Airport for your departure flight.

  • Borneo Keranji Farm is a nature-based farmstay. Facilities and amenities are more basic compared to city hotels, offering a simple and authentic countryside experience.
  • Mobile connectivity may be limited in certain areas of the farm.
  • This tour involves light to moderate walking, including some uneven surfaces at caves, forest trails, rural areas, and city streets. Guests are advised to wear comfortable footwear and be in reasonable health and mobility condition to fully enjoy the experience.
  • Food tastings during the Heritage Walk & Food Hunt are dependent on availability.
  • Please bring your own personal toiletries and essentials, especially for the farmstay.
