Sandakan / MY Nature Resort / (Optional) Rainforest Discovery Centre / Flying Squirrel Platform / Night Walk
By 15:00 hrs: Arrive in Sandakan by flight. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to MY Nature Resort in Sepilok, approximately a 25-to-30-minute drive. Check in and settle into your rainforest-surrounded accommodation.
In the late afternoon, enjoy free time at the resort. You may relax in the natural surroundings or take a swim in the resort’s swimming pool, which is specially designed to face the rainforest.
A shuttle van is provided for anyone interested in visiting the nearby Rainforest Discovery Centre, where you can explore their orchid garden and venture across the Canopy Walkway.
Before 18:00 hrs: Proceed to The Flying Squirrel Platform within the resort grounds to observe small rainforest creatures as they become active during the early evening.
After Dinner: If weather permits, join a guided night walk along the MY Nature Boardwalk located behind the resort. Accompanied by a guide, explore the rainforest after dark and learn about nocturnal wildlife that inhabits the area.
