Day 1

Kota Kinabalu/ Beaufort Wetland Reserves/ River Cuise

• Arrival at Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah, also known as "The Land Below The Wind." Upon arrival, warmest welcome by Amazing Borneo Tours representative and transfer for lunch. After lunch, transfer to Beaufort Wetland Reserve, about 2 hours drive to Southern part of Sabah, passing the beaches, villages, paddy fields and plantations. Checked in and enjoy light refreshment with local cakes upon arrival.
• Late afternoon, start the river cruise down the river and experience the tranquillity of mangrove wetlands which is also home of many species of wildlife. Search for the Proboscis Monkeys, catching glimpses of the Long Tail Macaque, rare Silver Langur and occasionally birds of prey such as Kingfisher, darter and the Crested Serpent eagle or White Bellied Sea eagle. You will be able to differentiate the female and male proboscis monkey by their appearance and behaviour after your Guide’s brief explanation on the habits of these fascinating creatures.
• After the river cruise, dinner will be served by the Jetty. Experience and watch the fireflies lighting up and decorating the mangrove trees by dusk. Depending on weather condition and luck, you might even spot nocturnal animals like the flying fox and night bats. Do bring along binoculars to have a better view of the animals. 
• Overnight at the River Lodge.

Day 2

Beufort Wetland Reserve/ The Green Connection

• Wake up to the sound of the soaring birds and other wildlife bringing you the sight of the serene mangrove. Early morning cruise by the Beaufort Wetland River, in search of more wildlife. Return to the jetty for late breakfast. Check out and transfer to Kota Kinabalu City. 
• Lunch
• After lunch, depart for The Green Connection – Aquarium and Science Discovery Centre. Get to stroll through the limestone caves, dense jungle, mangroves, spectacular reefs and out to the open ocean display. Showcasing over 500 native species and 100 engaging displays and exhibits including South-East Asia’s largest coral reef tank, The Green Connection is a celebration of Borneo’s vast wealth of biodiversity. Tour includes a guided tour around the aquarium, where you will visit ecosystem displays and learn about the fascinating variety of Sabah habitats and the animals and plants that reside there. These include the caves, rainforests, rivers, coastal systems and coral reefs.
• Students also get to enter the Green Connection Ocean Zone to experience South-East Asia’s largest coral reef tank, teeming with vibrant marine life. Come as close to sharks as they ever will without getting their feet wet, and watch the kk reef and shark feeding show where you will learn to appreciate those truly magnificent ancient animals.
• Dinner and later a chance to see Kota Kinabalu City by night and the night market.
• Check into Hotel.
• Overnight & sleep well.

Day 3

Kinabalu Park HQ/ Resort

• Pickup from your hotel lobby or airport and depart on a 2 hours journey to Kinabalu Park Headquarter. En route passing by villages and a panoramic vista of the valleys of the Crocker Range. Along the way, take a brief stop at Nabalu. Nabalu is a place where the local natives gather to sell local produce, fruits, home grown vegetables and handicraft souvenirs. Check into Kinabalu Park Resort or similar. Rest of the day you are free at leisure. Dinner will be served at Balsam restaurant and overnight.

Day 4

Park HQ/ Timpohon Gate/ Ascend Mount Kinabalu/ Laban Rata

• Breakfast at Park Restaurant. Thereafter, collect your packed lunch. Proceed to the Park HQ to register for the climb. Our guide will arrange for all necessary registrations, assign you a mountain guide and apply for your ID TAG. Remember to wear your ID TAG at all times.
• You'll then be transferred to starting point – Timpohon Gate – where your journey and quest to the summit of Borneo’s highest mountain begins! The climb will take approximately 4-5 hours. The trek will pass by different vegetation zones from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine type of vegetations. Arrive and check into Laban Rata rest house or similar in the late afternoon. Buffet Dinner at Laban Rata restaurant and overnight.

Day 5

Low's Peak/ Descent Mount Kinabalu/ Kota Kinabalu

• 0200hrs: Wake up for early supper and depart for continuation of journey towards the summit of Mount Kinabalu. The journey up to the Low's peak (4,095m) will test your fitness and determination. Depending on speed of trekking, you might be able to experience the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kinabalu if weather permits. (07:00hrs) Descend back to Laban Rata for late breakfast and check out. Trek down to Timpohon Gate for transfer back to the Kinabalu Park Headquarter (est. arrival 13:00hrs to 15:00hrs). Congratulations, you can now collect your Certificate of Achievement! Lunch will be served at the Balsam restaurant in Kinabalu Park. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu City. Journey takes approx. 2 hrs. Check into Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Community Involvement - Local Primary School Visit/ Tree Planting

• After breakfast, transfer to Kampung Tombung Village. Visit the local primary school and engage in classroom session where you can contribute by interactive teaching. This provides the local children the essential learning of communication and social skills. It is a good opportunity for you to step away from your comfort zone and be self-confident.
• After lunch, engaged in field work with the farmers which may include clearing of plantation, rubber and tapioca tree planting to help the community in the village - a chance of self-reliance and be exposed to self-sufficiency.
• Wash up and rest. This evening, help the host family in preparation of dinner where you will witness the Sabahan's way of food preparation and the challenge to work with the family with basic cooking amenities.
• After dinner an evening session with the family. Transfer back to hotel and overnight.

Day 7

Kiulu White Water Rafting/ Tamparuli Village Tour

• After breakfast, depart for Kiulu White Water Rafting (Grade 1-2). Upon arrival at Kiulu river, you will be briefed on safety measures and the various rapids by the River Guide. Collection of rafting gear like helmets, life jackets and paddles will be provided and distributed. Start rafting down 9km of the Kiulu River. Arrive at ending point for wash up.
• BBQ Lunch.
• After lunch, depart for Tamparuli Village Tour. Visit historical wooden shop houses & experience Kadazan Dusun Tribe everyday lifestyle. Try walking across Sabah’s most famous suspension bridge (Jambatan Tamparuli), & Witness another historical 50+ years old vehicle bridge built by local headhunter tribe where many sacrifices were made during construction of this bridge.
• Dinner and overnight in hotel.
