Stop at the Billionth Barrel Monument in Kuala Belait, celebrating Brunei's oil production history. Take a boat ride through Kampung Ayer, known as the Venice of the East, where you can spot Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife, and enjoy refreshments at a local home. Explore the bustling Gadong Night Market, Brunei’s largest, offering a variety of local and exotic foods. After dinner, check-in at your Brunei hotel and rest. Day 3 Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque / Royal Regalia / Malay Technology Museum / Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque / Istana Nurul Iman / Immigration Border / Miri Start your day with a visit to Jame Asr Hassanil Mosque, an architectural masterpiece with 29 golden domes commissioned by Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Then, explore the Royal Regalia, showcasing the Sultan's treasures and jubilees. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to the Malay Technology Museum to learn about traditional technologies used by Kampung Ayer residents. Visit the magnificent Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, one of the most beautiful in the Asia Pacific. Stop for photos at Istana Nurul Iman, the world’s largest residential palace. Day 4 Niah National Park Following breakfast, take a 1.5-hour overland transfer to Niah National Park. Register at the park office and visit the Interpretation Centre before heading to the Pangkalan Lobang Jetty for a boat ride and safety briefing. Learn about the park's history at Niah Archaeology before starting your 3KM trek to the caves. Visit Trader’s Cave, once a bustling trade site, and hear about its history. Next, explore the Great Cave, featuring one of the world's largest cave entrances. Keep your eyes peeled for local Penan people collecting birds' nests along the way.
