This 3 Days 2 Nights tour brings you around the charming Miri city and the nearby historical Niah Cave for a mix of both urban exploration and nature immersion. It is perfect for travellers looking to know more about Miri and its rich stories.
In Miri city, you will go on a guided tour to visit its famous places, such as Canada Hill where you can see an astonishing panoramic view of the whole city. Here, you will also visit the several other spots, including Grand Old Lady (Miri’s first drilled oil well) and Miri Petroleum Museum. You will also visit the historical Tua Pek Kong Temple, the oldest temple in Miri and one of the few buildings that survived World War II bombings. Once you are done, you will be visiting local shops for the famous Kuih Lapis Sarawak as well as the local handicrafts.
The next day, you will be exploring Niah National Park for the world-famous caves. This historical place is well-known for the archaeological sites where the oldest known human remains in Southeast Asia were discovered. Here, you will see the impressive cave formations at the Traders’ Cave and Great Cave, as well as the chance to see bird’s nest collectors do their job.
