A 20-minute transfer brings you to the Santubong Jetty, where your river cruise begins.
The boat cruises towards the mouth of the Santubong River, a prime spot for spotting the rare and elusive Irrawaddy Dolphins.
Continue your journey through the mangrove-lined rivers, keeping an eye out for local wildlife.
As the evening sets in, search for Proboscis Monkeys, often seen in small groups perched in the treetops by the water's edge as they settle down for the night.
As night falls, your search shifts to spotting fireflies and crocodiles. Crocodiles can often be found on the mud banks, with their eyes glowing brightly under the beam of a flashlight.
After the crocodile search, the boat continues further upriver to where fireflies gather in the mangroves, creating a magical light show in the night sky.
After enjoying the firefly display, you will be returned to the jetty and transferred back to your hotel – your tour ends here.
