KOTA KINABALU: A moderate 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit Ranau at local time 9:06pm on 8 March 2018. Tremors were felt in some parts of Sabah. As a safety precaution, Sabah Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun has ordered the temporary suspension of Mount Kinabalu climbing activities.
