Amazing Borneo Tours has won Best Destination Management Company in Asia and Best MICE Operator in Asia at the 2026 World Luxury Travel Awards, held on 24 October at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, Thailand.
The World Luxury Travel Awards recognise travel establishments at country, regional, continental and global levels, with winners determined through public voting. Both of Amazing Borneo's honours were awarded at the continental (Asia) level.
For Amazing Borneo, the double win reflects its ability to meet the service expectations of the luxury travel market, supported by the expertise and commitment of its trusted hospitality and tourism partners.
Delivering Luxury Travel Experiences Through Expertise and Partnerships

Founded in Kota Kinabalu in 2009 by Kenji Yeo, Amazing Borneo has grown into a Malaysian destination management company (DMC) serving leisure travellers, international travel partners and corporate clients.
Beyond conventional leisure travel, Amazing Borneo caters to the luxury market through customised private journeys, premium resort and rainforest lodge stays, and exclusive experiences. Its destination management services combine in-house operational expertise with a network of trusted hospitality and local partners to deliver the personalised attention, flexibility and service quality expected by discerning travellers.
The Best MICE Operator in Asia award also recognises the company's corporate travel and MICE capabilities, covering meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. From executive retreats and incentive travel to corporate events, Amazing Borneo works closely with accommodation providers, venues and specialist partners to coordinate tailored programmes, hospitality and logistics.
Its nationwide presence was further strengthened through the integration of Rustic Travel in December 2025, expanding its operations and travel-trade reach in Peninsular Malaysia.
For Amazing Borneo's Founder and CEO, Kenji Yeo, the double win was an unexpected but meaningful milestone in the company's 17-year journey.
"To receive two awards at the Asia level was a genuine surprise. But I don't believe we've come this far through luck. It's taken 17 years of hard work, and every person who has contributed to Amazing Borneo has played a part in this achievement," said Kenji.
The People Behind the Recognition

Amazing Borneo was represented at the Bangkok ceremony by Peter Stenberg Hansen, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Emily Lim, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), who received both awards on behalf of the company.
They were joined by Louisa Lim, Assistant Marketing Director, and Sylvia Lo, Assistant Sales Director.
Peter dedicated the recognition to the teams responsible for delivering Amazing Borneo's services every day.
"Our people on the front line are the ones who make all of this possible: the tour guides, drivers, reservations staff and operations teams who look after our guests and keep everything running each day. These awards are a recognition of their commitment and hard work," said Peter.
Emily highlighted the importance of teamwork and industry partnerships in maintaining the standards expected by luxury travellers.
"Delivering exceptional travel experiences takes more than one company. It requires dedicated people, trusted partners and attention to every detail. These awards reflect what we've achieved together, and we're incredibly proud to share this recognition with everyone who has contributed to our journey," said Emily.
