Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Kota Kinabalu / The One Mantanani Water Villa

08:30 Hrs: Pick up from your Kota Kinabalu city hotel and travel to The One Jetty.

Upon arrival at The One Jetty, register for the trip and attend a short safety briefing before boarding the speedboat.

Travel by speedboat to Mantanani Kecil and arrive at The One Mantanani Water Villa.

Enjoy the island at your own pace. Snorkel directly from the jetty around coral, tropical fish and an underwater shipwreck, relax by the sea, or try complimentary glass kayaking, hydrobiking and stand-up paddleboarding.

Discover Scuba Diving and certified fun dives are also available as optional paid upgrades.

Enjoy a buffet lunch with sea views at the overwater restaurant.

Spend the rest of the afternoon snorkelling, enjoying the water activities, taking photos or relaxing before preparing for departure.

Board the speedboat for the return journey to The One Jetty before continuing your transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

19:00 Hrs: Estimated drop-off at your Kota Kinabalu city hotel.

  • Boat journey to the island may not be suitable for individuals suffering from the following ailments: heart or lung conditions, recent surgery, back or spinal surgery, back problems / injury / fracture, arthritis, osteoporosis or other similar spinal and pelvic diseases. Pregnant women are also not recommended as boat rides tend to be bumpy depending on sea conditions. If you are suffering from similar issues as mentioned above, kindly consult with your physician before enrolling in this activity.
  • Kindly take note that the safekeeping of your belongings at all times is your responsibility. We do not encourage guests to bring along electronic devices, valuables, and important documents.
  • Child rate applies to guests aged 3 to 11 years, based on year of birth.
  • Adult rate applies to guests aged 12 years and above.
  • Unlimited jetty snorkelling is unguided.
  • Snorkelling equipment provided under the package consists of a snorkelling mask and life jacket.
  • Complimentary water activities are subject to equipment availability.
  • Discover Scuba Diving and certified fun dives are optional paid upgrades and are subject to instructor assessment and availability.
  • Non-swimmers may join the water activities but must wear a life jacket at all times.
