Day 1 - North Borneo Cruises - KK City Waterfront Night Cruise

8:00PM - Your unforgettable journey begins at Sutera Marina Jetty. As you set foot on the deck and set sail, the radiant lights of Kota Kinabalu City Waterfront extend a warm welcome, signalling the start of your journey with North Borneo Cruises. 

8:30PM - Marvel at the captivating panoramic views of KK City's illuminated skyline from the three viewing decks while cruising along the Waterfront. Discover landmarks, such as the Marlin Statue Roundabout and Waterfront Seafood Night Market, come alive against the night sky.

9:00PM - Groove to the rhythm of the night with our live band's mesmerising performances that keep you dancing on the dance floor. 

9:30PM - As the night draws to a close, bid farewell to North Borneo Cruises and disembark at Sutera Marina Jetty, cherishing the memories of this magical adventure.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • All guest particulars must be submitted at least 48 HOURS prior to the cruising date. 
  • A postponement fee of RM 50/person applies for any rescheduling of booking within 3 days of the travel date.
  • An administration fee of RM 30/name applies for a change of name after the initial submission of guest particulars.
  • All seats will be assigned automatically. If you wish to choose a table type, you may reserve a table for a small surcharge. Please check with our Tour Consultant for availability. 
    • Window Table: RM75/pax (min 2 pax)
    • Round Table: RM50/pax (min 2 pax)
    • High Stool Table: RM50/pax

  • Single traveller bookings are accepted. 
  • Additional Peak Season Charges are applicable during Daily Departure Sessions for Public Holidays & Eve of Public Holidays. 
  • Tipping is like giving a hug. Although it’s never expected, it’s always very much appreciated.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions are to be strictly adhered to by Guests. 

Safety and Health Precautionary Measures 

  • We only allow a maximum of 85 passengers for every session. This is to avoid overcrowding and enhance safe distancing.
  • Only Fully Vaccinated Individuals with Low Risk Digital Certificate are allowed onboard.  
  • Passengers are to observe 1-Meter Distancing Guidelines for Queue during Registration and Boarding. For group bookings, only one (1) representative from the group is allowed to approach the counter. 
  • All ages are allowed onboard. 
  • Seating Allocation: 
    • Tables and seats are allocated onboard the cruise. Table seating arrangement will follow the safe distancing guidelines set by the Ministry of Health. 
    • Same group / family is to be allocated in the same table. 
    • For couples who wish to have a guaranteed private table by the window, surcharges of MYR150/table will apply. 
  • Restaurant Area: 
    • Sanitise hands before entering the restaurant area 
    • Dispose your used napkins at a designated area 
    • All crew will be wearing mask and gloves and maintain a certain distance 
  • Passengers are to observe 1-Meter Distancing Guidelines from other guests in the general area. 
  • A thorough disinfecting of the cruise will be conducted before and after every cruise session. 
  • All food & beverages are prepared in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the Ministry of Health. 

General Notes 

  • Guests are to arrive at Sutera Marina Jetty at least 15 minutes prior to cruise departure.  
  • No outside food and beverages (including Tarap and Durian) are allowed onboard the North Borneo Cruises. There will be a corkage fee applicable for outside beverages. 
  • Due to dim lights, please mind your step when walking along the jetty at night.
  • Smoking is strictly limited to the designated area outside the restaurant. Please do not throw cigarette butts, matches, or cigar ends over the side of the ship.
  • Please pay attention to the safety briefing and announcements made by the crew for a seamless cruise experience.
  • Consumption of drugs or contraband or conducting of any illegal activity onboard North Borneo Cruises is strictly prohibited. North Borneo Cruises shall hold no responsibility or liability for any guests who participate in such activities. 
  • All guests are required to behave respectfully to the Cruise Captain, members of the Crew and Cruise Attendants, and other guests. Should any passenger display unruly or violent behaviour toward anyone onboard North Borneo Cruises, the Operator reserves the right to involve the authorities once the cruise has reached the mainland. 
  • In any situation regarding the safety of the vessel and its passengers, the Cruise Captain holds full authority to make the final decision. 
  • The Operator / Cruise Captain reserves the right to refuse any passenger to board if they display unruly behaviour under the influence of alcohol or drugs, without any refund. 
  • Any damages or loss to equipment onboard or on the cruise due to negligence or unruly behaviour must be replaced or repaired by the passenger responsible.  
  • North Borneo Cruises will not be liable for any injury received by passengers that are caused due to negligence or unruly or violent behaviour onboard. 
  • Children (11 years and below) must always be supervised by an adult. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants are not responsible for or liable for them.  
  • A carer must accompany passengers with disabilities at all times. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants will take reasonable care in bringing them onboard but is not responsible or liable for their movement while onboard. 
  • We will require your passport/MYKAD number for registration.
