Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Mari Mari Cultural Village / North Borneo Cruises (Sunset Dinner Cruise)

Pick Up: 

  • 11:00AM: Pick up from hotel lobby and commence an exciting day of adventure.


  • 11:30AM - 12:30PM: A set meal will be served in the local restaurant of Borenos Fried Chicken.

Mari Mari Cultural Village

  • 1:00PM - 3:30PM: Proceed on a 45-minute drive to Mari Mari Cultural Village. Upon arrival, be ushered through the different ethnic longhouses of Sabah and get acquainted with each village tribe.

Cultural Activities

  • Witness live demonstrations such as blowpipe dart-shooting, fire-starting using bamboo, traditional tattoo art, and natives jumping on a massive "Lansaran" (trampoline). You will have an opportunity to sample Sabahan traditional delicacies and drinks, served in bamboo. To wrap up your experience, be entertained with a lively cultural dance performance! 

Sunset Dinner Cruise

  • 5:30PM - 7:30PM: Transfer to Sutera Marina Jetty for registration and boarding of the North Borneo Cruises. Enjoy a luxurious and scenic 2-hours cruise along the islands and the Kota Kinabalu waterfront, serenaded by beautiful live band music.


  • A buffet dinner spread will be served in the cruise restaurant throughout the cruise.

Return Transfer

  • Bid farewell and transfer back to your respective hotel.

North Borneo Cruises

  • This tour package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transportation. 
  • There are several table arrangement types onboard the cruise, and your seat will be allocated accordingly.
  • All rates displayed are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and inclusive of 0% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Guests are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior departure at Sutera Marina Jetty.
  • No outside food and drinks are allowed onboard the cruise.
  • Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase on board.
  • Consumption of drugs or conducting any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
  • All guests are required to behave in a respectful manner to all members of the crew and attendants. The operator reserves the right to involve authorities should there be any violent or unruly behaviour occur.
  • The cruise captain holds full authority regarding the safety of the vessel and its passengers.
  • Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied at all times. The crew will not be liable in any case aside from bringing them onboard.

  • Baby Car Seats (for infant aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your tour consultant for availability.

North Borneo Cruises

  • Tables and Seats are allocated onboard the cruises, sharing-table basis. Your seat will be allocated according to safe distancing guidelines.
  • A surcharge of MYR150 will apply if you wish to reserve a private table by the window. Please check with our Tour Consultant for availability.
