Day 1 - Arrives Kota Kinabalu / North Borneo Cruises – Sunset Dinner Cruise

Upon your arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, our friendly local guide will warmly greet you and arrange your transfer to check in at the resort. 

At 16:45 hrs, get ready for an exceptional experience as we transfer you to Sutera Marina Jetty for the North Borneo Cruises - Sunset Dinner Cruise. 

As twilight sets in, embark on a tranquil journey across the waters, admiring the picturesque islands and charming water villages scattered along Sabah's west coast. Indulge in an enticing international buffet dinner on board, creating lasting memories of the evening. 

After disembarking from the cruise, return to your hotel for a tranquil and rejuvenating night.

Day 2 - Beautiful Twin Island Hopping OR Klias Wildlife River Cruise

Gather at the hotel lobby after breakfast for your transfer to the jetty. 

Upon arrival at the jetty, board a short 20-minute boat ride to reach the first island, Sapi Island! 

Bask in the sunshine, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, bury your toes in the warm sand, and relish the serene atmosphere. 

Hop onto a speedboat for a transfer to Manukan Island, where the enjoyment and relaxation continue. 

Indulge in your lunch by the pristine beach and take the opportunity to explore the island or continue partaking in sea sports activities. 

Return to the hotel and enjoy leisure time at your own pace.

 

IF you choose Klias Wildlife River Cruise 

Your day begins with a pickup from the hotel lobby, setting off on a scenic 2-hour journey. 

Upon arrival at the jetty, indulge in some local high tea favourites before preparing for your safari river cruise. 

Embark on an open boat adventure along the Klias river. Keep a keen lookout for the elusive long-nosed proboscis monkey, long-tailed macaques, and various bird species, including Kingfishers, darters, and eagles. 

After the thrilling river cruise, relish a sumptuous dinner at the river lodge.  

Then, hop on the boat again for a mesmerizing experience as you witness nature's Christmas lighting and the enchanting fireflies! Depending on weather conditions, you might even catch glimpses of nocturnal creatures like the flying fox and night bats. 

Conclude the day by departing for Kota Kinabalu and transferring to your respective hotel, concluding a memorable adventure filled with wildlife encounters and natural marvels.

Day 3 - Kota Kinabalu / Tamparuli Town / Nabalu Market / Kinabalu National Park / Kundasang Market / Kundasang

Embark on your journey with a hotel lobby pickup, venturing into Sabah's countryside. We will make stops along the way to indulge in local culinary delights, shop for handcrafted souvenirs, and savour exotic fruits. 

After a 30-minute drive, immerse yourself in the scenic landscapes as you arrive at Tamparuli Town. Take a leisurely stroll across the iconic Tamparuli suspension bridge, a local gem with stories of its own. 

Continuing along winding mountain roads for an additional hour, arrive at the Nabalu Handicraft Market, nestled on a hillside. Here, locals sell homegrown produce, fruits, vegetables, and unique handicraft souvenirs. Don't miss the chance to visit the nearby viewing platform for a breathtaking panorama of Mount Kinabalu. 

Next, journey to the awe-inspiring Kinabalu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of the Kinabalu UNESCO Global Geopark, perched 1,500 meters above sea level. Marvel at the majestic Mount Kinabalu, Southeast Asia's towering peak, surrounded by stunning valleys. Day 4 - Desa Cow Farm / Alpaca Club / Kundasang Farm Ville / Kota Kinabalu

The second day greets you with a misty morning, unveiling splendid views of the sun-kissed Mount Kinabalu. 

Your day begins with a visit to Desa Cow Farm. En route, witness the scenery transforming into lush green landscapes in your rearview mirror. Arriving at the Desa Cattle Farm, sprawled across 199 hectares of pristine farmland on Mount Kinabalu's foothills, you're welcomed by breathtaking panoramic views. Get up close with the cattle, bottle-feed the adorable calves, and enjoy fresh dairy delights like milk, yoghurt, or gelato! 

Next, head to the Alpaca Club, Sabah's exclusive alpaca farm! These charming and cuddly alpacas, renowned for their soft fleece and friendly nature, eagerly await your visit. Hand-feed these adorable creatures and capture memorable up-close photos. 

Continue your excursion to the Kundasang Farm Ville, a new attraction near the dairy farm. Explore an aquaponic farm, a selfie garden adorned with delightful decorations, an enticing ice cream bus, and a cosy café.

  • Tipping is like giving a hug. Although it’s never expected, it’s always very much appreciated. 
  • Baby Car Seats (for infants aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your tour consultant for availability. 
  • Please do not bring valuables as there are no lockers on the islands. 
  • The boat journey to the Island may not be suitable for individuals who have any of the following conditions but not limited to heart or lung conditions, recent surgery, back or spinal surgery, back problems/injury/fracture, arthritis, osteoporosis or other similar spinal/pelvic diseases. Pregnant women are also not recommended as the boat ride may be bumpy depending on the sea condition. If you are having similar issues as above, kindly consult your physician before you enrol in this activity.  
  • We will not know when the jelly fish season is as it varies. Usually, it occurs during mid of the year or/and end of the year. Just be extra careful and inform our guides should you be bitten. Our guides are first aid trained. 
  • Jelly bugs are common in the waters, but they are usually harmless, and it will just cause some slight itch. 
  • The two islands that you will be hopping to are Manukan Island and Sapi Island. Occasionally, we may change one of the islands to Mamutik Island. It depends on the crowd, water, jetty and or logistics situations, and this will be decided by our experienced operation team.  
  • If you opt for Klias river cruise, binoculars can be rented with MYR 10 per set but subject to availability. You are advised to bring your own binoculars to visually enhance your experience of viewing Borneo's endemic wildlife in their natural habitat. 
  • Kinabalu Park is at a high altitude, approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, you may bring a sweater with you as it can get a little chilly up there. 
  • The standard check-in and check-out times for most hotels & resorts are 1400Hrs & 1200Hrs. However, check-in & check-out times may vary depending on each accommodation. So, kindly check with us to get accurate check-in & check-out times for your accommodation.
