(Note: The itinerary provided is a sample and subject to change based on operational or environmental factors.)
Enjoy a convenient pick-up from Kota Kinabalu and transfer 2.5 hours to Kinabalu Park HQ.
At the park headquarters, all participants are required to present their passport, a signed health check-up form completed by a certified medical officer, a complete name list, and a climber's indemnity form.
Accommodation for the night will be provided either within Kinabalu Park or nearby Kundasang, allowing you to acclimate to the mountain environment and rest before the ascent begins.
Your day begins early with registration at Kinabalu Park between 07:30 Hrs and 09:00 Hrs. Following a mandatory safety briefing, climbers are transported to Timpohon Gate – the official starting point of the Mount Kinabalu trail.
From here, you’ll begin your ascent through lush montane rainforest, gradually gaining elevation as you make your way toward Panalaban Base Camp. A packed lunch will be provided for you to enjoy along the way. Climbers must reach Panalaban by 15:00 Hrs to meet the cut-off time.
Weather permitting, a short acclimatisation hike to the First Viewpoint is included at 15:30 Hrs. This brief ascent provides a stunning preliminary glimpse of the surrounding peaks and supports better adaptation to the altitude.
After returning to base camp around 17:45 Hrs, enjoy dinner and rest up for the big day ahead.
The summit ascent begins between 07:00–08:00 Hrs, following breakfast at Laban Rata Restaurant. The journey leads to Low’s Peak, the iconic highest point of Mount Kinabalu at 4,095.2 metres, where you can still enjoy sweeping views above the clouds under the soft morning light.
It will take you approximately 3 hours to arrive at your first peak - Low's Peak, 4,095.2 metres above sea level! Enjoy the surrounding scenery before savouring your packed lunch and continuing towards Gurkha Hut.
After a brief rest at the hut, prepare for a late-afternoon climb to Oyayubi Iwu Peak, named for its thumb-like formation and located around 4,000 metres above sea level. The journey from Gurkha Hut to Oyayubi Iwu typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.
Return to Gurkha Hut for dinner and your first overnight stay at this high-altitude basecamp.
After breakfast and a safety briefing, the morning begins with a climb to Alexandra Peak (3,997.5 metres), which should take about 2 to 3 hours to reach. This rarely explored summit offers dramatic views and a heightened sense of isolation and achievement.
Return to Gurkha Hut by late morning for lunch and a short recovery.
The next summit attempt begins at 13:00 Hrs – this time to the commanding Victoria Peak (4,090 metres), another crown jewel in your multi-summit conquest. You are expected to reach Victoria Peak in about 2 to 3 hours.
Climbers return to Gurkha Hut by 16:00 Hrs for a well-earned dinner and a second night under the stars in Sabah's rugged highlands.
Fuel up with breakfast before preparing for the final descent. Begin the journey back to Panalaban Base Camp by 08:00 Hrs, with an estimated arrival at 11:30 Hrs for a hearty lunch.
The final stretch takes you back down to Timpohon Gate, arriving around 16:00 Hrs.
From there, transfer back to Kinabalu Park HQ to receive your certificates before returning to Kota Kinabalu – your epic multi-peak mountaineering adventure ends here.
