Sample itinerary

Day 1 - ARRIVAL / SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE

  • Meet and pick up at Kuching Airport.
  • Depart to the award-winning Sarawak Cultural Village for an engaging inside experience of 7 ethnic tribes of Sarawak sprawled on a 17-acre site. Get an exclusive walk-through of their day-to-day lives and vibrant tradition and culture through engaging activities, hand-made crafts, and live performances!
  • After the tour, you’ll be brought out for a sumptuous dinner.
  • Transfer to your hotel to check in and settle yourselves for an overnight stay at a 3* or 4* Kuching City Hotel.

Day 2 - FAIRY & WIND CAVES / SEMENGGOH ORANG UTAN

  • Awake nice and early for a hearty breakfast.
  • After breakfast, you’ll depart for a 45-minute scenic countryside drive to Bau area onwards to the Fairy and Wind Caves!
  • As the name suggests, get whisked into the ethereal fairytale world of the Fairy Caves and marvel at stunning limestone formations of stalactites and stalagmites and beautiful montane vegetation to complete the aesthetics. Further exploration of the Fairy Caves will showcase a number of shrines and altars by Taoist Chinese with strong beliefs of their local folklore, regularly making their offerings. 
  • After the Fairy Caves, you’ll be guided over to the Wind Caves – named after the constant cool breeze circulating the cave – to continue your cave explorations in the Bau area.
  • You’ve probably worked up an appetite, so it’s time to head out for some much-needed lunch!
  • After lunch, prepare to pay a visit to our distant cousin, the Orang Utan, at the Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre where you’ll get the opportunity to observe Orang Utans as they frolic in their natural habitat and come out of the forest during feeding time from a safe distance.
  • Depart the centre and head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - KUCHING CITY TOUR

  • Good morning! After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, prepare yourself for an exciting Kuching City Tour! 
  • We will pick you up from the hotel and take you around the city's must-visit locations, guaranteed to have you tick your bucket list off.
  • Your first stop will be the famous mascot of Kuching at Padungan, aptly represented by a gigantic cat statue, before exploring China Town and stopping at one of the oldest temples in Sarawak, the Tua Pek Kong Temple.
  • At the heart of the city, you will be passing by unique visuals such as traditional Malay homes built on stilts, the majestic Astana, once home to the White Rajah and currently utilised as the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak, the old Colonial Law Courthouse of Sarawak, the Clock Tower, a granite obelisk constructed in memory of Rajah Charles Brooke, and the iconic Kuching Pink Mosque.
  • We will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel. Afterwards, you are free to spend your time at leisure.

Day 4 - DEPART FROM KUCHING

  • Rise and shine! It’s time for some breakfast.
