4D3N Myne Resort Package (Sandakan/ Sukau Bilit / Kinabatangan River)

Pick up from Sandakan airport / Hotel and transfer through the jungle to Myne Resort.
As you arrive Myne Resort, you will be checked in to your basic facilities followed by lunch at Myne Resort’s Restaurant.

You will be given plenty of time to wander around the resort before proceeding to the Merbau Trail for an afternoon jungle walk.  The Merbau Trail is named after the 100 year old Merbau Tree that you will be able to see during your trek. This tree with hole underneath is said to be a hiding place for a villager to hide their daughter during Japanese occupancy in North Borneo.

15:30 Hrs: Coffee, Tea and local snacks will be served, before proceeding for your afternoon cruise down the mighty Kinabatangan River. Get those binoculars on standby for macaques, pig tailed macaques, or even the long-nose proboscis monkey endemic to Borneo. Besides saltwater crocodiles, snakes, bird species and wild orang utans, you can’t possibly leave without spotting some pygmy elephants along the river bank, though it is not guaranteed.  Your safari cruise is expected to end at 6:00PM, chasing the sunset along Kinabatangan river on your journey back to  Myne Resort.

Dinner is at 7:00PM.

Rest and overnight at the river lodge.

Rise and shine! Have a chill breakfast at the river front.

At 10:30 Hrs, proceed for the morning jungle walk to search for different wildlife that may show themselves at this time.

Lunch back at the resort and free to relax and enjoy the pristine nature surrounding you.

In the mid afternoon, indulge in a local tea break before proceeding for your afternoon cruise for the next two hours.

Dinner is at 19:00 Hrs.

Rest and overnight at the river lodge.

Rise with the sun the next day for a light breakfast before proceeding to your morning river cruise.

Journey back to the resort after all morning’s wildlife action, where a full breakfast awaits you with a view of Kinabatangan River.  

Have the rest of the day free and easy.

In the night, proceed for a Night Jungle Walk in the moonlight.

Rest and overnight at the river lodge.

In the night, proceed for a Night Jungle Walk in the moonlight.

Rest and overnight at the river lodge.

Rise with the sun the next day for a light breakfast before proceeding to your morning river cruise.

In the mid-morning, check out from Resort and transfer back to Sandakan.
