Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival / Miri City Tour

  • Meet and greet at Miri Airport upon arrival before taking you on a guided tour around the city. 
  • We will explore several historical landmarks and tourist hotspots, such as Canada Hill, Petroleum Museum, Grand Old Lady, and Old Chinese Temple (WWII surviving building).  
  • You will also get the chance to do some shopping at the local herbs shop, Kek Lapis Sarawak shop, Sarawak handicrafts shop, and tamu (local weekly market) for some souvenirs 
  • Once the tour is over, you will check-in to your hotel where you are free to do your own activity at your leisure.

Day 2 - Brunei City Day Trip

  • After a delectable breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up for a 3-hour drive to Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. 
  • You will be seeing some of Brunei's most beautiful and well-known mosques here, including Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque and Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. 
  • Following that, you will also pay a visit to other popular tourist destinations in the country, such as Jerudong Park, the Royal Regalia Museum, the renowned Kampung Ayer, and Nurul Iman Palace.
  • Lunch will be served at a restaurant in town where you will be served with yummy local delicacies. 
  • We will transport you back to the hotel for a well-earned rest after a fun-filled day exploring Brunei.

Day 3 - Niah National Park

  • After your delicious hotel breakfast, we'll pick you up and drive you for 1 ½ hour to Niah National Park via the Miri-Bintulu Coastal Highway. 
  • Registration will be done at the park office when you arrive. Following that, visit the Interpretation Center and head to the Pangkalan Lobang Jetty for the boat trip and safety briefing. 
  • You will pay a quick visit to the Niah Archeology to learn more about the history of the place before going on the 3KM trek to the Niah Caves. 
  • The Traders' Cave is your first stop, where you can learn about the history of the trade station and the beliefs of the locals who live nearby. 
  • Continue travelling until you reach the Great Cave, one of the largest cave openings in the world. If you are lucky, you can observe the bird nest collectors gathering the nests on the walls and ceilings of the cave. 
  • After the fun cave exploration, make your way back to the park HQ where you will be transferred for a late lunch. 
  • You will return to your hotel after your meal for a free and leisure time.

Day 4 - Departure from Miri Airport

  • Enjoy some free time before checking out of the hotel and transfer to Miri Airport for your departure flight.

  • Please dress modestly in Brunei and avoid wearing short pants and sleeveless shirts.
  • Please note the mosques in Brunei are closed to visitors on Fridays.
  • Guests should complete the E-Arrival Card registration via www.imm.gov.bn before arriving at the Immigration Control Post at the Brunei border.
