OVERVIEW OF TOUR

This 4-day, 3-night tour is jam-packed with exciting activities that highlight a plethora of attractions in Kuching. It is a fun package with a good mix of the city, culture, and nature all in one!

Kuching, the City of Cats, is home to many historic buildings like the old shop houses, Old Court House, Post Office, Square Tower and Tua Pek Kong temple. As part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, Kuching is a goldmine for gastronomy seekers where you can indulge in the creamy Sarawak Laksa or take a bite into the sweet delight of Kek Lapis Sarawak.

Up north of the city, see the beautiful view of the majestic Mount Santubong as you make your way to Sarawak Cultural Village. The award-winning living museum showcases replicas of all the major ethnic houses in Sarawak. The cultural exhibition continues with a colourful performance at the theatre before you depart for your next sightseeing experience. Go on a river cruising activity at Kuching Wetlands to spot Irrawaddy dolphins in their natural habitat and Proboscis monkeys atop the mangrove vegetation. The pristine ecosystem also displays twinkling fireflies that can be seen at nightfall as the cruise comes to an end.

The Semenggoh Wildlife Centre is where you will be introduced to the renowned great ape of Borneo—the orangutan. The centre is a haven for injured, orphaned, or captured orangutans, where the public can come and learn more about this rare and endangered ape species. Next, stop by the Annah Rais Longhouse and experience the traditional Bidayuh tribe longhouse and enjoy a warm and hearty ethnic lunch prepared by the community. Later, you can also head out to the hot springs for a relaxing soak after a sumptuous meal at the long house.
