Day 1 - Sandakan / Overland Telupid / Deramakot Forest Reserve

09:30 Hrs - 10:00 Hrs: Begin your adventure with a pickup from Sandakan Airport or your hotel lobby. 

Enjoy a scenic 2½ hour transfer to Telupid town with a lunch stop along the way. 

Brace yourself for a thrilling 2-hour drive along rugged gravel roads deep into the heart of Deramakot Forest Reserve. 

Encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including Bornean cats, hornbills, orangutans, and pygmy elephants. 

Receive an informative briefing from your specialist guide upon arrival and check-in at the park’s chalet. 

Unwind until dinner and then embark on a 2-hour 4x4 night safari to explore the forest's nocturnal wonders. 

Return to your chalet for a restful overnight stay filled with lasting memories of Deramakot's captivating biodiversity.

Day 2 - Deramakot Forest Reserve

Immerse yourself in the captivating ambience of the rainforest with three thrilling 4x4 safaris spanning seven hours in total. 

Wake up early for a 4x4 dawn drive, navigating through the wilderness to discover wildlife amidst the stunning morning rainforest. 

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the dining hall before spending the morning at leisure. 

Head out on a late afternoon 4x4 drive to increase your chances of encountering more wildlife. 

After dinner, depart for another 4x4 night drive to search for nocturnal creatures before retiring to your chalet for the night.

Day 3 - Deramakot Forest Reserve

Enjoy leisure time at the dining hall before embarking on a late afternoon 4x4 drive to the Balat outpost. 

Conclude your day with a delightful dinner and retreat to your chalet for a restful overnight stay.
