Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Sandakan / Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre / Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre / Rainforest Discovery Centre / Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Lodge

Arrive at Sandakan Airport and transfer to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to watch the feeding session at 10:00 Hrs, followed by an educational video at the Nature Education Centre.

Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about the species and observe them from the viewing platforms.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, visit the Rainforest Discovery Centre for canopy walks, botanical gardens, and birdwatching.

Enjoy a seafood dinner at a local restaurant.

Head to Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Lodge / Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary / Sandakan Airport

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and depart for Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. This unique mangrove habitat offers the chance to observe and photograph proboscis monkeys up close during their scheduled feeding sessions.

After the visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing with your transfer to Sandakan Airport for your onward flight.
