Tawau Airport Transfers

• In accordance with regulations set by MOTAC and relevant authorities, it is mandatory to engage a Licensed Tourist Guide for all chartered tour buses. For tour vans carrying 7 passengers or more, a licensed guide is also required. Please note that Amazing Borneo will not be held responsible for any penalties incurred due to non-compliance with this regulation.
• Licensed Tourist Guide services can be arranged upon request:
  • MYR 200 per local licensed guide (per way or round trip)

Please provide your arrival and/or departure flight details at the time of booking. Transfer arrangements cannot be made for reservations with missing or incorrect flight information. No refunds will be issued for unused services resulting from incomplete or inaccurate details.

If your flight is rescheduled or you wish to adjust your pickup time, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance or as soon as the change is known. All ground arrangements are made ahead of time, and any change requests are subject to vehicle availability. Failure to notify us in time may result in your booking being treated as a “no show”, and no refunds will be issued for unused services.

• For airport pickups, our driver or representative will greet you at the arrival hall holding a placard with the Amazing Borneo logo. Please keep an eye out for our sign upon exiting the baggage claim area.
• If you are unable to locate our representative or the designated meeting point, kindly contact the phone number provided on your booking voucher before making any alternative arrangements.
• The waiting time is up to 1 hour from the actual landing time of your flight. If you do not show up within this period, our customer support team will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to reach you, it will be considered a “no show”, and the driver will leave without refund.
• Please note that airport transfer arrangements apply to one flight arrival time only. If your group arrives on multiple flights at different times, each will be treated as a separate booking.

• Please be ready and waiting at your hotel lobby at the scheduled pickup time to ensure a smooth transfer to the airport. 
• During peak seasons, please expect possible delays due to traffic conditions.
• If you are unable to locate our driver or designated meeting point, please call the contact number provided on your booking voucher before making any alternative arrangements.
• The waiting time is up to 1 hour from the scheduled pickup time stated on your voucher. If you fail to show up within this period and cannot be contacted, it will be treated as a “no show”, and the driver will leave without refund.

• A 50% midnight surcharge applies to all transfers scheduled between 22:00 Hrs and 08:00 Hrs, daily.
• A 50% peak season surcharge applies during festive and holiday periods.

• Before placing your booking, please consider the size and quantity of your luggage, as space is limited and varies by vehicle type.
• The maximum passenger capacity listed refers to the number of people the vehicle can accommodate excluding luggage. For a more comfortable ride, we recommend booking a larger vehicle if you are travelling with large or additional luggage beyond the standard allowance.
