Sample itinerary

Day 1 - Kota Kinabalu / TARP Island

  • 0830hrs: Rise and shine! Meet up in the jetty by 0830hours. Then you will be whisked on a speed boat to the JSK Borneo Reef (Previously known as Borneo Reef World), the largest reef activity pontoon in South East Asia, located in between Sapi and Gaya Island.
  • Upon arrival, you will be greeted by delightful Pontoon Stewardesses followed by some light refreshments. Explore the double-deck reef pontoon and absorb the tranquil environment.

Activities:

  • Inflatable Water Park: The epic definition of fun in the sun! The water park is the largest inflatable aqua park in Sabah and features fun and challenging obstacle courses, making it the ultimate holiday destination for family and friends.
  • Snorkeling: For those who eager to visit the corals and critters of the underwater world, suit up and jump right into the cool blue waters for a snorkel!
  • Sea Walking: Stay dry from the neck up while you Sea Walk on the Sea Walking platform, mingle with the underwater critters and go up close with the beautiful coral life.
  • Kayaking: Admire the tropical blues head above waters on a kayak! Paddle the crystal clear waters and enjoy sometime in the sun.
  • For those who prefer to stay dry, fret not, there is always something for everyone. Tour the unique Underwater Observatory to catch a glimpse of what breathes beauty into the underwater world, vibrant corals and fishes galore!
  • For a more relaxing option, bask in the golden rays of the sun on the beach or pontoon with a scenic view of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park Islands laid bare in front of you.
  • Meals: All the fun and relaxation will work up an appetite. The meals provided include a set lunch and water. After lunch, free and easy on the pontoon.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • Complimentary seawalking activity & Inflatable Water Park activity is for 8 years old and above individual only.
  • Seawalking activity is complimentary and based on first come first serve basis.
  • Vending machines are available on the pontoon selling bottled drinks, snacks and non-slip beach socks.  
  • It is advised to wear Non-slip Beach Socks (available to purchase in vending machines on board) or Wet Shoes to protect your feet during water activities and when navigating the metal walkways which can get quite hot during the day.
  • Please note that personal care products such as shampoo, bath gel, conditioner and soap are NOT ALLOWED to be used in our bathrooms. The chemicals from these personal care products damage the health of the coral reefs and are hazardous in the marine environment. 
  • This package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle.  Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee.  Please inform us when making the bookings. 
  • Your safety is our top priority. Should the weather or sea conditions render it unsafe to proceed for this tour, Amazing Borneo Tours reserves the right to change or cancel tour. Tour will be refunded accordingly.
  • Jelly bugs are common in the waters but they are usually harmless and it will just cause some slight itch.
  • Please do not bring valuables for all island tours.
  • Sea Walking Activity - Scuba Walker with Helmet is suitable for non-swimmers and persons aged over 10 years. It also depends on your body size (shoulder width) if you are able to fit the 25kg helmet. Should you not be able to proceed for the sea walking activity, no refund will be made as this is a complimentary activity.
  • You are advised to bring enough cash for your any unlisted sea sport activities.
  • Departure time is approximate and varies from different hotels due to traffic conditions, please reconfirm with our staffs. Should the transport be delayed, please call the relevant telephone number as stated on the voucher before making alternative arrangements.
  • Amazing Borneo Tours reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation reserved should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.
  • Tipping is like giving a hug. Although it’s never expected, it’s always very much appreciated.

COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

  • To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests and associates, the supplier will only allow guests who are “Fully Vaccinated” as per the requirements** issued by MKN (National Security Council Malaysia) and classified as “Low Risk” and “Casual Contact” into the premises.
  • All guests are required to present the digital vaccine certificate via the MySejahtera App for verification upon making reservations and during check-in.
  • The supplier has the right to refuse entry if guests or visitors exhibit body temperatures above 37.5 degree Celsius or if they are listed under Close Contact status, Person Under Surveillance (PUS) status, Suspected Case status and Confirmed Case status.
  • If an MCO is declared by the relevant government authorities during your booked date, you may choose to obtain a full refund or may choose to book for another date after the announced MCO.
  • We reserves the right to change the aforesaid promotion, benefits, and/or terms.
  • Kids below 17 year old are allowed with fully vaccinated parent.
