Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Kuching city for check-in. Spend some time settling in before beginning your Sarawak journey in one of Borneo’s most charming riverside cities. 

In the late afternoon, head to the waterfront and board a scenic sunset cruise along the Sarawak River. As the boat glides past landmarks such as the Astana and Fort Margherita, enjoy panoramic views of Kuching’s skyline illuminated by the warm evening light. The gentle river breeze and relaxed atmosphere offer a memorable introduction to the city. 

Dinner will be arranged before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Bau to explore Fairy Cave and Wind Cave, two of Sarawak’s most well-known limestone cave systems. Fairy Cave impresses with its spacious chambers and dramatic rock formations, while Wind Cave offers cooler air and narrow passages shaped by nature over thousands of years. 

Continue to Borneo Keranji Farm and check in at approximately 14:00 hrs, followed by a short introduction to the farm and its surroundings. Set amidst greenery and countryside landscapes, the farm offers a refreshing escape from the city. 

In the late afternoon, take part in a “farm-to-table” experience and explore the grounds, where you can observe local plants and interact with animals such as goats and rabbits. As evening falls, enjoy dinner at the farm before relaxing for the night. You may choose to unwind by the pool or simply take in the peaceful atmosphere of rural Sarawak.

Start your morning with the calm countryside atmosphere of the farm, followed by time at the mini zoo before breakfast. 

After checking out, proceed to Annah Rais Longhouse, a traditional Bidayuh village nestled at the foothills of the mountains. Walk through the longhouse and discover the customs, architecture, and way of life of one of Sarawak’s indigenous communities, offering a glimpse into the region’s living heritage. 

Continue to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre for a chance to observe orangutans in a semi-wild environment. During feeding sessions, you may witness these remarkable primates emerge from the surrounding rainforest canopy, creating an unforgettable wildlife encounter. 

After the visit, return to Kuching and check in to your hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the city at your own pace, from riverside strolls to local cafes and eateries.

After breakfast, depart for Bako National Park, one of Sarawak’s most renowned national parks, reached by a short boat ride along the coast. 

Spend the day exploring Bako’s diverse landscapes, where dense rainforest trails meet rugged coastal cliffs and secluded beaches. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, wild boars, monitor lizards, and colourful bird species roaming freely in their natural habitat. 

Enjoy a guided walk through selected forest trails while learning about the park’s unique ecosystems, mangroves, and biodiversity. The sounds of the rainforest, sea breeze, and dramatic scenery create a truly immersive Borneo nature experience. 

After the excursion, return to Kuching in the afternoon and relax at your hotel.

After breakfast, set out on a guided heritage walk through Kuching’s historic districts, including India Street, Gambier Street, Main Bazaar, and Carpenter Street. Along the way, discover traditional shop houses, temples, and family-run businesses that reflect the city’s multicultural heritage and old-world charm. 

Enjoy a curated food hunt experience featuring local favourites such as kolo mee, laksa, and traditional snacks while experiencing the lively rhythm of everyday life in Kuching. Continue to the Open Air Market and Kuching Waterfront, where local flavours, conversations, and riverside scenery come together. 

Later, visit a Kek Lapis factory to learn about Sarawak’s iconic layered cake, known for its colourful patterns and intricate preparation techniques. Enjoy a tasting session before returning to your hotel after a full day of cultural and culinary exploration.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kuching International Airport for your departure flight.
