08:00 Hrs: Your exciting journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel lobby or Sandakan Airport.
Visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, where orphaned and displaced orang Utans are brought for rehabilitation. Observe these amazing creatures in their natural habitat.
Continue on to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to catch a glimpse of these charming sun bears – and their impressive climbing skills!
Check-in at Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort.
After lunch, depart to Rainforest Discovery Centre, your gateway to learning about Borneo’s unique and biodiverse rainforests and one of the best birdwatching spots in Sabah.
Talk a walk through the forest or walk along the canopy walkway, 150 metres long and 28 metres above ground.
Enjoy dinner at the resort's restaurant before retreating to your comfortable accommodation for a good night's rest.
Rise to the songs of gibbons and hornbills, nature’s alarm clock gently alerting you on the start of an exciting day! Enjoy your breakfast at the restaurant while taking in the view of the resort.
09:00 Hrs: Check out and depart from the resort for your journey to Gomantong Caves, the largest limestone and bird nest caves in Sabah, home to millions of bats and swiftlets. When in season, witness the bird nest collection by local people.
12:45 Hrs: Continue the journey on a 2½ hour drive towards Kinabatangan River and onward to Bilit.
Upon arrival at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort, you will be greeted by the team. Refreshments will be served followed by a briefing on resort routes and safety. Lunch will be served before check-in to your room.
16:00 Hrs: Embark on an evening river cruise to observe the diverse wildlife along the banks of Kinabatangan – proboscis monkeys, orangutan, macaques, pygmy elephants, tropical birds, and more!
Return to the resort and enjoy a delicious dinner before retreating to your room for the night.
Overnight at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort.
Awake to the melodic sounds of gibbons and hornbills beckoning you for a thrilling river cruise along the Kinabatangan River.
After the cruise, return to the resort for a hearty breakfast before embarking on a one-hour trek through the surrounding jungle, immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity.
In the afternoon, enjoy a delicious lunch on the resort's deck, overlooking the majestic Kinabatangan River.
Head out for an afternoon cruise along the Kinabatangan River. The animal sightings can vary from day to day, so you can expect different creatures to show up during your session.
Return to the resort for your dinner.
After a delightful dinner, return to your accommodation for a restful night's sleep.
Your day starts bright and early again to the songs of surrounding wildlife, waking you up for another exciting river cruise.
