Day 5 Oxbow Lake/ Jungle Lake/ Gomantong Cave/ Kota Kinabalu Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills at 6am. A morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching and jungle walking along the trails. Experience the wilderness of Borneo. Cruise back for late breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart to Gomantong Cave located within the Gomantong forest reserve. Upon arrival, 15 minutes walk on the plank walk to the cave. Explore the largest bird's nest cave in Sabah, home to millions of bats and swiflets. The nest of the swiflets are collected for the famous Chinese edible bird nest soup.
